To become a catalyst of change by creating awareness to change habits for improving the surroundings resulting in a clean and safe place to live and work for future generations.
A clean and green environment which leads to a better society and a nation at large by creating movements self-directed by the citizens.
When our Prime Minister launched the Swachh Bharat Mission on 02 Oct 2014, the founder Mr. Bharat Sisodia got inspired and started the cleanliness drive in and around their societies. Gradually the residents and societies got added in this social group aiming towards the betterment of the neighbourhood.
The Social Group launched the Swachhta awareness campaign “Mera Swachh Motera” in 2014, which became a public movement. The initiative got an excellent response and gradually began to spread across the entire city of Ahmedabad as “Mera Swachh Ahmedabad.” Hence, this social group got registered as Catch Foundation, an NGO working towards the clean and green environment, envisaging and catering to all the causes which lead to a better society to live.
The NGO's focus is awareness of cleanliness, segregation of dry and wet waste at source, increasing the green landscape in the city, and encouraging people not to use plastic. This message is being spread across through the door to door awareness programs, various campaigns like Swachhta Rallys, Nukkad Nataks, significant events like Swachhta Jagruti Maha Parv, Swachhta Abhiyan, Greenwalk, and conducting multiple competitions like Swachhta Sangramin in schools and societies.
Catch Foundation as one of the Best NGO in Ahmedabad has involved Senior Citizens who can add value through their experience, homemakers by giving them new perspective besides household activities, entrepreneurs and professionals who understand their responsibilities towards the nation. Army Officers also devote their time for the noble cause initiated by the foundation.
All the volunteers believe in the importance of giving back to the country.
Today there are more than 250 societies and 15000 families who are associated with the Catch Foundation. The addition of the volunteers and societies is done through the various door to door mass awareness programs on cleanliness, littering, lessen the usage of plastic, solid waste management, and plantation.
